ASU Biodesign Institute scientists develop innovative twists to DNA nanotechnology

This is an 11-by-11 gridiron structure (11 vertical helices by 11 horizontal helices) with 21 base pairs (bp) between junctions in both directions uses 5301 of 7249 nucleotidesof the M13 DNA scaffold strand and con-tains 120 staple strands (42 nucleotides each).
