Short-term hemofiltration is cost-effective for severe acute pancreatitis

The efficacy of administrating early veno-venous hemofiltration for patients with severe acute pancreatitis, as well as choosing which modalities in China, is still unclear. A research group led by Professor Qing Xia carried out cost-effectiveness analysis based on Chinese literature and found that the most cost-effective modality is short-term hemofiltration for SAP.
